Xin Chào!

   Proudly opening chimlanh as the first Vietnamese coffee shop in Dallas proper has been a quiet dream that came to life in January 2023.  Dedicating traditional phin drip brewing method by using beans from Viet Nam and partnering with Vietnamese-American owned companies. 

 

chimlanh is a safe space for our commUnity to start your mornings, of all ages and genders.  A cà phê shop that supports and amplifies people with disabilities, all while uplifting women, AAPI and Black-owned businesses through mutually beneficial partnerships ONLY.  

 

A win-win-win.

 

'chimlanh' is actually two words that I connected as one to signify holding of hands, a showing of unity.  Chim means bird and it is also an endearing name for pussy.  Lanh means witty, one of the nicknames my ma gave me as a kid.

 

Our patriarch has fooled us all into thinking that pussies are weak, so much so that even us women use this term as an insult.

 

Yet, there is nothing weak about our muscular canal and the most powerful organ that puts 99.99% of the work into creating all of humanity.  Witty Pussy.  

 

chimlanh is a reclamation of a powerful sisterhood.
